Opinions on what to do with 2 Hdc3 10in d1

Hey now. Just got two HDC3 10s for 150 bucks.. Bnib.

I have a 2011 Accord. Will I be able to get a box to hold two of them in my trunk with out it taking the whole trunk..

Thoughts on what to do? Trade them for something else???

hit up @CSCStang for a design/opinion, he had an HDC310 in his trunk for a good amount of time.

They are the older ones with the AQ on the dustcap

Yea I'm pretty happy.. My first real higher quality sub.. My trunk though has three amps in it now, in the front part of the trunk where the seat folds down on a rack I made... I think two might be over doing it for a daily but would love to be able to have a box for both and take to a show. Now all I need is a amp to powering them. Haha.. Have a RF Punch 1000.1bd at the moment.. What's funny is I got burned by a dude this mourning selling two SA 8v2s in a custom box for 300.00 on CL... Is the suspension supposed to be super stiff like that? Cant really move it.. I read others saying the same thing.

You should really ask for advice on how to check for bad subwoofers before buying. With those SA8s, if you cant push down the cone on or if its extremely hard to push down and makes noises if you force it down, its a bad coil/blown sub. You need a digital multi-meter with you to read the coils to see if they are bad or good too. You need to plug in and play the subs to make sure they dont have any ticking noises at high volumes.

oh yeah thats normal. Took me 6 months to break in my hdc3 18s. Its the thick spiders. They are still stiffer than most new mainstream subs on the market as they are now.
