Opinions on what subs i should get to bang out

Ok, here's the deal: I have a ho alt, big 3 upgrade, 2 kinetic batteries, and 0 gauge ran throughout. I have a Rockford fosgate t20001bd amp. I had some pioneer premier pros ( one of them blew out of a custom made box ) so now I'm looking for some subs ( new or used ) that I can just plug n play, then bang out with. I stay in Chicago and I'm seeing used newer model 15 inch kicker l7s in the $300-400 price range. I always read on this site about how ****** kicker is but I'm not seeing nothing else in that price range that will do any better that I can test / install within minutes and be ready to go. Suggestions plz?

*I also have a custom 2 12 ported box built to Pioneer premier pro TS-W3001 specs I could use for some different subs if someone has any ideas.

*Also I have a Buick lesabre so trunk space is limited

Is it in a box? I don't have access to tools or a location to build my own and I'm not payin for a $200+ custom built box.

no the csx wont come with a box. but i would talk to a few of the people on here and see what they can do as far as building you a box.

What are the specs for your box for the two 12s? You could probably get a pair of 12s and stick em in there.

You seem to be going in the right direction for your audio with all those electrical upgrades, but why are you trying to skimp out on a box? The box will be the difference of your system sounding good or sounding like ***. Just save up more money and get one made IMO

Cause the way it seems is you're trying to get some L7s then a ****** pre fab box for em.

I hear a lot of these better quality subs from lesser known brands are Harder to resale too. So that's something to think about also.

if you want loud then stick with the kickers. they will get plenty loud and dont really cost much. sound quality isnt GREAT but its not absolutely horrible either.

Get two Fi SSD 12"s.

dude, just buy used on here or caraudioclassifieds.org in the subwoofer section of the classifieds.. you can also sell them here. Pick up some FI Q 12s, old RE SX 12s, some DC LVL3 12s, AudioQue HDC or HDC3 12s, Incriminator Audio DR 12s, or anything similar. Even if you blow them, you will easily sell the motors and baskets on here or even get them reconed later. It is a MUCH better route to take.
