I like Polk too. I've owned a shit load of the Momo 10"s (still have 4 of them loaned out to various friends) and the SR6500's are the nicest components that I've ever had.

The Cadence amp that mclerico linked looks very impressive on paper. Gotta love the efficiency if it's anywhere close to accurate.

I'm leaning heavily towards the Dcons or the DC Level 2's as I feel confident they will sound very musical and play a nice freq range. They should give adequate output if you aren't looking to go crazy.

Also, they are modestly priced.

If you do want to stick mainstream (polk, ect) there is nothing wrong with that at all. Obviously everything is opinion based. And they do offer decent quality. You just usually have to pay more for it.

On a side note. If you do stick with the MB1500.1 then you could consider running 2 DC Level 3's and calling it a day. Great daily drivers. But once again, you'd want to double check what your electrical would be like first.

The SR6500's I had were heavily used and still performed excellent. I replaced them with bnib RF T152S' that I bought for $100 shipped.

The Polks were much nicer than the RF's, but they were rough looking. They hadn't been properly installed by the previous owner and the crossovers were beat to shit. The tweets were scratched all to hell too...

yes with the extra power you can put the ssd's in on the mb quart but you will have to upgrade big 3 on electrical, you have a 110 amp alternator, i would keep with th a5hc which is totally legit output and actually i have seen some benched around 800rms and the dcons.
