Opinions on this Boss amp please...

UGH! Boss, i know... but i found this which seems to be reasonable for the price even if does half of it's actualy wattage

Yea had one given to me I mean just gave it to me, I gave it to a friend and he hooked it up to 2 shallow mount premier subs, Wired each channel to the sub(4 ohm) and it wasnt bad for a 300 dollar amp but it isnt making 500 watts a channel @ 4ohm. So if u only need a couple watts for a good price get it the only bad thing is ur only gettin a couple hundred watts for a amp that is 3 times to big to make that power.

Bad news, its a Boss and its over rated. Good news is it has a 5 year warranty. Bad news is that most of the weight is heatsink and bling so if it breaks, you pay $$ to send it back. Good news is that considering how cheap the stuff is, it doesn't break much.

it will actually put about 900-1100 rms if electrical is decent in vehicle bench tested @ 1ohm for price it aint bad have fun

Than Bose must be the best stuff out there. $500 for an alarm clock with speakers and a CD Player.

Seriously, Boss is closer to Walmart. They own the factories, don't do crazy advertising, just move tons of boxes. You would be surprised about how many of the brands out there share similarities with the "cheap" lines. Not saying the stuff isn't cheap, but its a pretty good value for the money.
