Opinions on the MTX Square Ts8512-44 12 Vs Kicker L7 12

Hey guys I have always had kicker subs and I was wondering about trying out the MTX TS85 12. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge about these subs compared to a kicker l7 12. Any info would be appreciated.

Well Idk I gave some of the older. 5500s 500rms daily and they held up

I got a couple 10" 7500's from Sonic last year when they were on sale for the wife's minivan. Not bad...

Don't like Kicker myself. I've owned about all of them too. Except for the Solo X.

Agreed, I have owned the older Roadthunders, 5500s, 6000s, 7500s, 8000s and I gave them all far more than rated power and they didn't break a sweat, even the Roadthunders with their 1.5in voice coils //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I have alot of experience with the ts55's and ts85's the 55's are deffently alittle less or same as an l7 and the 85 tops the l7 but where the mtx really shines is sound quality is alot better then the kicker............I ran 2 ts85's in a smaller enclosure 1.5 cubic each on a ap3000 and they would only get stinky after a few mins of playing

The key word here is older MTX. The older MTX amps where great also.
