Opinions on MA HK4000d, overated? underated? cheap? junk? Let me know guys.

I'm thinking about buying one here in a few days to push my n2 15. I have been told i could break 50's easy with this thing in my truck. (s10) With good electrical. I'm looking for a decent 3k out of it, but i don't know if it's capable of doing it at 2 ohms. I sent my buddy a picture of the board and he thought it was like a 1500 to 2k amp because of the heatsinks lol I just need more opinions about it before i consider buying it. Thanks guys. Reason i have posted this is honestly i'm not familar with guts of amps that's why i'm turning to you guys lolz Thanks again!

just going off the fet specs of my hk2000d, which is rated at 1800. i have not clampped, and might not, but going off just the fet rated specs, i would say it could do rated if you could feed it. the 4-quadrent p/s in that thing looks pretty beefy for rated power. i wouldn't think you should have a problem getting that out of it. btw, rated is 3600@14.4, and 4k@17 2ohm. these can be modded for more, as well.

yea u can mod these thing to run at 1ohm but i wouldnt they like to get hot when being pushed hard at 2ohm. overall id rather the new hifonics colossus over the majust my opinion. hell even an ap30001
