Opinions on Infinity Kappa perfect vq's

They are nice subs, I put in a single 10 sealed in my friends car and it sounded quite nice (not an SPL app. though), but not much of a difference from a standard Kappa Perfect. If you can get em for 100$ I say go for it, thats a good deal

If SQ is what you seek, then for that price you can't go wrong. Hell you can't go wrong at that price period. They can get reasonably loud. I had a Perfect 12.1 in about 1.1CUFT net sealed with some polyfill. It sounded great. I found myself wanting more SPL though with just one.

i've owned 2 10's - very nice sq. can play low & still hit every note. not much for spl, but you can still feel the impact pretty good. another thing to note, they are very picky when it comes to air space. make sure you follow infinity specs & avoid the small boxes, they sound like crap in small boxes.

good sub, best sounding sub i have ever heard. just dont send them too much... they dont like it, i would reccomend using the rated RMS. not underrated very much.

as for enclosure size, you can use the variable q to "customize" your sub for different enclosure sizes

Kool thanks for all the replys guys. I'm debating between those and a set of L5's. the l5's I can get for about 20$ more. hard to decide.
