ok so im really into war history and i collect things from wars. last weekend me and my dad was hittin some yard sales and i found an old war trunk from the korean war. its beat up as expected. of course its the olive drab color with black fittings and hardware. some rivets are missin so until i can restore it i put some self tappin screws in plce to hold the latches and lock on. its pretty decent size. bout 2.5' deep, 3.5 feet wide, and bout 13-14" tall. rright now i have all my tools and stereo gear(spare wires, fuses, extra holders and what not) but i was thinkin since right now i got my box filling the backseat and part cargo it fits in the rear of cargo perfect, i wtill gotta finish closing the cargo off and carpeting it. my idea is to put a false floor in the box and cut slots to put the 2 kinetik batts down in with only a couple inches showing and putt all my fuse blocks and/or dist. blocks inside with a couple neons of somethin as like anice little "power trunk" so that when i pop my cargo you see this old war trunk but then you open it and ya got the batts and a nice little display? this will be in the cargo of my jeep cherokee which is at the moment black but thinkin bout paintin it the drab green and puttin some white stars on the front doors/hood/cargo hatch! post up opinions.
