Opinions on a setup?

alright, so I'm putting my '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in forward motion and trying to get a nice system going in it. nothing too expensive and awesome, just something that will turn heads.

I've already had a Pioneer DEH-P80MP HU installed, and I have stock Infinity Gold component speakers.

Here's the thing, I can get ahold of a cheap amp (Directed Audio D2400) from a friend. But I don't know what subs I'd want paired with it. I was originally planning on going with 2x 10 or 12w6v2's, but that was before I was offered this amp. I know subs are very broad and it's really just about opinion, and there is no 'best sub'... but what pair of subs would sound good with said amp? I was looking at the 15" L7's for a bit, and they have me interested, but I just figured I'd ask around and see what other people think, since I'm fairly uneducated in stereo systems. -cough- //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

With that kind of power I'd run it to apair of D912D4's. These subs in my opinion stand right next to W7's really cant tell the diffrence accept the JL's are to pricey.

i have 1 15" l7 runnng with 1500 watts and its loud and clear its in a ported box not sure how big yet dont feel like calculating but its very nice.

I may just go this route, and buy a smaller amp with a simple 15" L7.

Look into Soundsplinter subs, the Rl-p or Rl-s or the new Ascendant Audio subs the Arsenal.

i say keep that amp and go with 1 15L7, that amp is only 1200rms @1ohm, ive heard the new L7's can take more power than the older ones

an RE SX would also be nice
