Opinions of 15" sub.

I have a audio pipe apsm 1300 amp, stock electrical, with knukeptz kolusus flex 4 gauge wiring. Need opinion on a 15" sub that would match the amp. Price under $250. So far I am considering an Obsidian 15" or a sundown sa 15".

What kind of enclosure are you going to run? That always help with advising on subs.

If you don't want to go larger with the enclosure I would suggest a single 12"

yeah i look at the skar also. maybe tune it to 30 hz. ik they have solid lows but i haven't heard the best about the mids.

Suggestion for Obsidian 15's that was given to me by Nick...

"Aim for 3.3 to 3.5 ft^3 per driver tuned to 32 Hz. Anything larger or tuned lower will result in too much bottom end that will cover up the top end...especially avoid tuning lower in a larger box."

i might get a bigger encloser. I was thinking about going with 2 sa 15's and doing a big three on my car. but id need some component speakers and that puts me way over my budget. Im leaning towards the obsidian.
