I've been thinking about purchasing this headunit with the audio system I currently have in my signature. The main things that interest me are the very enticing price and the 24-bit D/A converter. Is this a true D/A converter such as the ones found on the high-end Eclipses and Nakamichis or is it some kind of gimmick? Let me know what you think about this deck!

I just recenlty got rid of this very same deck. I WOULD NOT recommend it, I bought it brand new and within 5 months I already had problems with it. Sometimes the display would go out and the subs ould cut off and if I wiggled the front faceplate it would come back on. Very annoying and angering. I would stay away!
