I personally wouldnt throw any less than 2kw to a loaded BTL. I had 3kw on my 15 BTL and I"m upgrading to more power.

yes electrical will be upgraded as of right now i thinkim gonna use a svr 80-12 and get a big alt. gotta find one first for that vehicle?? general gm alts work?

if i were to get the Q i would feed it about 1400rms.

if i were to get the BTL i would give it about 2500?

i've never heard either in person but i heard the Q is more of a daily driver. im lookin for loud with SQ that can hit the lows better than my cv v-max 12

Why is this guy coming to you if you just seem to be guessing as to what equipment to use anyway?

I haven't read the whole thread, but running a BTL with only 1500 watts isn't a very good plan. And imo unless you are someone very familiar with your tastes, and the products, I wouldn't recommend such an SPL oriented sub for some joe blow customer's daily driver system.
