Opinions about this setup?

hey everyone, new here and back into stereos again after about 5 years out of them. wanted to see what everyone thought about this budget setup i'm gettin. it's just to get me started again, and some of it is on the cheap side but gotta start somewhere.

the car is a 94 camaro, here is what is already in it: pioneer deh p7700 and all new pioneer speakers (factory replacements)

i just getting ready to order a ultimate t3-1000d amp and pair of ma audio ma-120xe 12's. box i'm undecided on. either gonna get a buddy of mine to help me build one or get one that goes in the t-top area on these cars but then i have to figure out what to do with my t-tops though. just though i would see what everyone thought. i think the amp may be overkill for these subs but i know i will end up upgrading the subs later anyway.

Get your friend to custom build you a box for them subs for sure. As for the amp, I really don't think it's a overkill, but you can always adjust the gains to the proper setting for the subs. Like you said you may upgrade your subs one day and you may not need to get another amp.

As for the T-tops, I can't help you out too much in that department. But I don't know if I would want to go anywhere with the t-tops off, then get your equipment jacked. Good luck.

figured i would go ahead and put up a picture of the car i'm working with. it's one of a kind around here, so everyone knows to stay clear of it.

working on gettin it ready for paint too right now so that is why i'm going low budget on a system for now. can always sell some or all of this and get different stuff later but i want more music NOW!

Please stay away form MA audio. . . i can suggest much better for same price with an amp!

got the ma's already for 110 bucks for 2 of them brand new. also have a ultimate t3-1000d ($230 shipped), 0 gauge kit ($50), 2 farad cap ($60) coming too. i will probable get something else later and put these in my g/f's car but for now they will do. i'm in NW FL between panama city beach and pensacola. close to destin if you know the area.

sorry found this place right after i ordered. i have heard ma before, is ok stuff and will work fine for now. will probably go much better in a year or so but for now got too much other stuff going on to sink a bunch in this too. just got to have some bump to my tunes though.
