Operation New Door panel *Worklog and Pics*

wait.... what happened to the bike?
It was stolen back in November...I never got around to making the thread with all the details...but here it is in a nutshell:

-Parents didnt know I had a bike again so I was renting a private, secure, storage unit to keep it. Unit had the bike, lift, stands, bunch-o-tools, leathers, helmets and my racing suit.

-Front-Counter guy, who sets up accounts, liked my bike...alil too much...and told some shady friends of his about it...he set them up with an entry code so they could steal it.

-Coming home from a ride one night, after just pulling in past the gate and waving to the gaurd, I took baseball bat to the helmet...and thats I remember.

-They cleaned out my storage unit, put the bike on a trailer and took it to Miami...guard noticed it leaving on a trailer, which had never happened before and decided to see if something was awry, and I was on the flat of my back out cold...

-What happened next is still up to debate but someone rode it, wrecked it and then they stripped it and left me with a twisted frame...

-I got the call around christmas that they found it, not exactly the gift I wanted...but the $32k I've gotten in insurance money sure helped...

Not getting a bike soon...

The miata isnt mine...it was a gift from a family friend after the bike was stolen and I blew up my car. Once I get a new one, I think we're giving him the car back...

oh wells. they're fun cars none the less. what are you thinking about getting?
Depends on whether or not I want to use the insurance money. I need money to pay for school and it'll proably take a good chunk of that $$$...

you have shit luck with vehicles by the way.
howd you destroy the car?
The car had low compression for awhile and I just tried to stay on top of keeping the oil topped off, etc but it finally gave out one day going to work and threw a rod in my 5th cylinder...

Nice work man it's coming out really nice what color are you going to wrap it in?
The main portion is going to be white vinyl, the armrests black and the factory top piece is already black. The speaker grill and ring's also black so it'll stand out nice against the white...

It's coming along man...............
