subscribed. I like how your making custom arm rests. Good job!
Me too. I realized last night while driving home that I didnt have any and then while bored out of my mind, tried to figure out how to make them. It was actually a lot easier than I thought but would have been 1000x easier if my router table wasnt Out of service...

looks good man, what are you going to cover the arm rest with? you should put some memory foam or something really soft under there also.
Well....Joanns didnt have much, but they did have some foam. I'm still unsure how to actually cover the **** thing. I've never done any sort of fabric work and I'm alittle dumbfounded. I think I have an idea of how, but we'll see in the coming weeks if it works....

No pic update but...

Went to a local fabric store and picked up all my imiation leather vinyl, fleece for the fibreglass work, wood backing and dowels to moutn the rings. Tomorrow starts shaping and mounting work. Was going to do it today but I felt like crap...until I took one. Feelin' better now, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Small Update:

Its cold out (~60's), its grey, and I've got the flu so I maganged to get a little done. Got the carboard template for the panel done and transferred to the paperboard. Got it cut out later and then, after realizing its probably alil too cold to start glassing, I started work on all the keyhole slots for the push-pins till my legs gave out. Didnt take many pics but here they are:

Also decided to scrap my handles. I'm picking up another router table tomorrow with a few new bits and I'm going to crank out some nicer ones //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
