Opening Car Audio Shop in Orlando

TC..... one of the best things you can do is contact Mike Hadden of Central Florida SPL and have a grand opening show.. Mike has a very good rep and alot of us attend his shows to support them when hes the judge. i guess you could call us his followers.. its also a really good way to get the business name out there.
x2, ill be down for that!

If anyone knows where im talking about im pretty sure its right near haiwassee on west colonial by the golden corral and the ale house. Its a really busy area, and its near pine hills so you know all the drug dealers are gonna want to swing through and put the loudest shit in their vehicles and not care how much they gotta pay lol.

you were asking about what to get as far as tools for cutting up sheets of MDF..

if your a baller CNC is amazing

if your not quite as baller... panel saw

if your not ballin at all... decent table saw

if you owe everyone money... circular saw

HeHe.

You know how you make a little money in the car audio business,

Start with a lot.

I just left my shop near the Hiawassee corner, actually between Kirkman and Hiawassee. The shop had been there for over 15 years, had to move because the owner of the building I was in sold the building. Let me tell you, just showing up on a busy corner is not enough these days. The 5th gear building just became another rim and tire and stereo shop. I wish them all the luck in the world but it is HARD right now. Do you think Ultimate Audio closed down the Pine Hills location closed down because the so called drug dealers stopped going showing up? Shops all over this town are hurting no matter who you cater to. When you think you have enough money to open up a shop, double it!

That might be enough.

Agree with the pawn shop! HUGE money, when people are hurting, Pawn shops and check cashing stores thrive. Chick-f-la is always making money. When was the last time you saw a subway go out of business? I love our industry, but remember we are not a necessity.

I agree that is a good idea. Pawn/audio shop... You got some pics of your building? It sounds cool.

Once you get really big AVRevolution has the right idea with a check cashing store... Charge a nice 10%. That is what is great about being open on weekends if you are that is...

Also, I am sure you will have some supporters here on CA. I would definatly check out a CA members stuff before shopping around anywhere else. I'd spend a few extra bucks to keep it in the circle.
