Opening Car Audio Shop in Orlando

TC..... one of the best things you can do is contact Mike Hadden of Central Florida SPL and have a grand opening show.. Mike has a very good rep and alot of us attend his shows to support them when hes the judge. i guess you could call us his followers.. its also a really good way to get the business name out there.
I would love to do that but I dont have a demo car built or anything right now.

Definatly gonna wanna pick up brands such as kicker, jl, sony etc. While we may not agree, you will make most of your sales from kids who dont know squat about sound and walk in with 2 grand for some sony xplods.

he is not going to be able to afford JL right off the bat unless he has a serious bankroll. JL requires you to stock and purchase a minimum of product every month,. and not only that last i know JL requires a 15,000 buy in in top of that and you have to be in business minimum of 2 years before they consider you for a dealer

Ya but u get the idea, just in general is what i meant. We may think the perfect shop only houses DD/RE/AQ/RD/DC but that would be a bad decision to run a business unless there a serious ammount of audio freaks out there.

Your gonna want all the basics, a few routers, definatly a nice table saw or 2, sanders, boxes of glue. Unless you wanna get all baller on us and get a cnc

id find a good installer for remote start and alarms. and someone who knows how to tint. but ya the cheap shit sells. even jensen and pyle. i see these shops selling it all day for 100s more then ebay and people buying it.

yeah i get what you are saying.

thats why i think he should carry brands like blapunkt, powerbass, jvc, jensen, audipipe. by no means do they make the best products but alot of people on this forum dont understand not everyone is looking to to do massive sub stages. alot of people out there are just looking for simple head units and to replace factory speakers.

I agree on the powerbass and audiopipes, they make great budget equiptment, none of my local shops sell anything worth buying so i just get everything over the internet.

Maybe if you get sell Hifonics thatd be good too.

Everyone starts somewhere, atleast maybe you'll get em off in the right direction lol. Itd be good to do tinting like said above, theres alot of money in that if u got the time and room/installer
