Oops, change of plans - Sundown Help!

Started building a new box for my DAD 15.. Was planned to do 3.5 cubes @ 32.. Did something horribly wrong and fucked it up, turns out I cut wood for 2.7 cubes @ 32 hz..

I figure 2.7 cubes is too small.. Considering my current one that the sub is in is 2.5 @ 35 so It wouldn't sound any different.

I may be getting a Sundown X12 very soon, so I plan to use the wood I messed up on for the Sundown..

The box was supposed to be 24X24X14 and the port opening was 3.5X12 or something..

Could I use these same dimensions for the X12? Or can anyone help me piece together something out of the wood i've already cut
