One $3-400 sub or a pair of $1-200 subs?

I'm having no luck finding the SI BM that you're talking about man. Google doesn't like these car audio companies or something...lol

On another note, let me post the budget write-up I did for the system, maybe that will help.

Head Unit - Alpine DVD screen - $500

Speakers - front - $150-300

Amp - front - $100-200

Sub - single or pair? - $200-400

Amp - amp - $250-400

Steering Wheel Control adapter - $70

Cables

Box

Install

Total = $1270 - $1870 without cables & box

Will I need to upgrade my electricals?

If you stay around 1000wrms or less, you should be OK with Big 3. I'm not sure what alternator you have stock. Just stay on the low side of your budget and do the Big 3 and get an upgraded battery. If you're still having voltage drop, you'll have $$$ left over for an upgraded alternator. If you're not having problems, then you'll just have left over $$$!

They haven't been released yet. That's probably why you can't find much on them. They're also made by Stereo Integrity, the same company that makes the Magnum.

Yeah, that amp would work VERY well with the mag.

Wow, I just watched some video of the 15" Magnum in action and I must say I am very impressed. That's a ton of thuggin fun for just one 15" sub and it is nice & sharp with good hard rock. Thanks for the good suggestion guys. Ben, I will shoot you another PM and we can talk further.

Make sure it was the new version mag. Because the new ones are a LOT better than the old ones. And most of the videos online are of the older versions.

Well the new ones have a 12 spoke basket. But you probably can't see the basket.

If all you can see is the cone, look at the dustcap. If it says Stereo Integrity on it with their little logo under it, it is the new version.
