It depends, Ask Go-N-def(think he works for the CDC, or something like it) (if he hasnt already responded after I type this) but It can be anywhere from a few weeks, up to nearly a year.

i've had 3 or 4, but this last one got stuck. let's just say, if they hadn't got it out, something was about to explode. they said it was blocking that side of my urinary track so everything was all screwed up.

the really bad part was having the stint taken out. i was awake for that, now that was some pain.
