Older type R's

I tried to save some bucks by buying the 04's.

Wasn't impressed enough to even take a chance on the new model.

Mistake, maybe.

No more type R's in my future.

Are you looking at the ones from buddy on sounddomain? I have 2 of the old type r 1240's that I just installed into a 2.5 cu ft seperate chamber sealed box. Before it was in a prefab box at about 3.33 cu ft @42-46hz. I removed my back 6x9s to allow a little more bass to come through and try a no rear fill setup. Well now it's way better sounding. Hit's lower, louder and cleaner. Now my trunk lid rattles like a mofo where as before I had very little rattling. Never tried a lower tuned ported box, but I am sticking with them sealed in this setup.

thanks for the pdf mustangowner. I must admit, the specs are not nearly as impressive as the 05's. The xmax alone was nearly 5mm different, and the power handling was not nearly as much. I think i might get some new infinity reference with the same spec that are brand new with warranty.
