plain ol' me
Long before TV changed our lives people snuggled up to their radio every night for a few hours of entertainment and news.
Back in the 80's I ran across an AM station that was broadcasting an Old Time Radio program. I listened and was hooked. Most, not all, of the shows were great and funny as hell. Much different than today's tv shows.
I tried for years to find tapes but there weren't many available and those that were were too expensive. Recently I googled "Old Time Radio" for the hell of it and found the link below. Try some...if nothing else they are like going back in time to a much different age than we live in today.
My suggestions/favorites are:
X Minus 1
Fibber McGee and Molly
The Great Gildersleeve
Boston Blacky
Hope you enjoy them !
