Old SE's 10's vs. Old HCCA 10's

I had a set of RE SE 10's that I got rid of a while ago and now I'm ready to find something "new". I was searching to local CL and saw a pair of old HCCA 10's! I have ALWAYS wanted a set of these, and now is my chance. They are in a custom ported Orion spec box. My question is, how do these two compare? Do you think a MB DCS2000.1D be too much? Or should I look into a SAZ 1500D? I'm not looking for HUGE SPL numbers. I listen to about 60/40 rap/rock music. So I would like to have a little SQ. Any help will be much appreciated.

You could sell me your dcs. should of listened to everyone when they said to buy it b4 they became impossible to find. Are the hcca's the red basket ones or are they before that

Pick up a used aq2200. I always wanted to try those hcca's depending on the price give it a try. As long as you have the electrical to support all of it if not stay with the se

I have a 12 inch version of that sub, and am throwing around 1200 RMS to it daily with no problems. It got warm and smelly on 1500 though. I would think a pair of 10s could take 1500 RMS easily. just picked up a pair of 1508's in a nice vented enclosure. try these out for a bit.
