I've been out of the car audio game for a while now. Life got a hold of me. Had a kid, responsibities etc... Haven't been on CA.com for several years.I used to be a regular every day user here.although i doubt anyone remembers. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Still have the occasional itch for car audio, but it's just not on my budget these days.

Anyway, I was just wondering how many of the old regulars from 9-10+ years ago are still around?

Very few old forum members still around. Many pop in at random (like you did) here and there, but not so much for people who regularly contribute.
Browsing around a bit, that's the sense I got. Looks like not much has changed here or in the industry, really. This place used to be really entertaining back then.

Don't kid yourself. I was a lurker only in those days and this place was just nuthuggery and trolling. Apart from slowing down in the winter it's pretty much the same but without such good trolling since there's a lot of language that gets you banned these days.

I'll agree with that. There has always been a lot of BS to sift through to find any real helpful info. You had to really pay attention to figure out who knew their stuff. I guess maybe it was just more fun back then when I was younger. But there were some epic moments and some of the regulars were quite funny. Entertaining enough to keep me on most of the day. Sometimes I even learned stuff.

idk, I was around car audio before sites like this existed... does that count???? lol....
I got the bug in ealry 90's...maybe late 88-89 or so. the intertnet wasn't around at the time (public) and the only way was asking questions in person at local car audio places. Whenever I went, I took whatever product brochure I could snag. To date, I have nearly a lot of brand names still to this very day from Atomic to Zapco.
