this: MRV-1005, MRV-F405,& MRF-F505 (left to right, top pic). the MRV-1505 is not pictured but is a 2 channel the size of the F505.

There are 2 1005 and a 505 but they are pretty beat up.

where, on eBay? they were made in 1996 and are hard to come by in nice shape (took me over a year to find the set pictured above).

the MRV-F505 is the larger amp pictured above, and an awesome, active-capable amp.

The MRV-1005 is not Japan made but China made. not a bad amp but not as good as the Japan models (IMO). the 1005 is 2 channel only and the crossover isn't as flexible.

Yes eBay. They have a old audison 5 channel also. Looks pretty good

i like Audison (obviously). the SRx series is nice and flexible but confusing controls.

I routinely see these amps in pawn shops cheap. They're decent huh? I used to have an old t757 and a matching 4 channel. They were great amps in my setup (setup for more sq, they weren't all that powerful)

yea, awesome amps for the money if made in Japan versions. the versions with black heat sinks were later versions and China/Korea made. Not as good in my opinion but i had them back in the day also and they did good.

they have good power, but rated power at lower THD. modern amps appear to have more power but more power at higher THD.

i like older Soundstream. that amp would need external crossovers.

gotcha. it's a decent amp and there is a steady stream of soundstream (pun intended) amps on the market. i prefer the Reference series, like 405S

I just want a 5 channel to keep it simple as possible. You know these amps can take up a lot of space.
