Old school Precision Power Sedona 200IQX

Anybody ever run one these? wondering if it has nice SQ? or would make a good amp for a set of comps...I know it's not a art amp or a power class but are the oldschool sedona series a solid amp?

have a chance to pick up a mint one and was thinking about using it for my front stage it's rated 100x2 @ 4 ohms

Gotcha.. right now I'm running a Old school kicker ZR240 for my comps and it's rated 60x2 @ 4 ohms I'm wondering if this amp would be a upgrade for me?

Also trying to find the going rate for this amp? he said to make an offer but not sure what I should offer him for it??

Like I said this thing is clean looks **** near new, never been opened up and he says he's the second owner and got it from his older brother back in the day..

any pics ? PPI has been making amps since the 80's....I'm curious to the model to know how good it is ....

They're good amps, not as sexy looking as the art series, but good old school PPI. I've run them before with no problems. Keep in mind they'll be nearly 20 years old and depending how much it's been used you're running into the area where electrolytic caps wear out.

oh there it is in the title...lol I just saw old school Precision Power when I clicked from the main page...Yes those were ok amps back in the day...they were PPI's lower end amps...sorta like the Cobalt series from Orion...but still much cleaer sound than most of todays amps...It will be a little more power and a different sound than the Kicker...you could try both and see what sounds the best to you....

Just hooked it up on my bench to test, works great.. can't wait to hear it on my comps.. I'll put it in tommorow.

Very nice, always liked the looks of the Sedona's better than the white Art amps.
