Dont do it! I have never heard them sound or perform well in sealed. Then again were talking 90's when I used to frequent the spl scene! But the big vented enclosures are worth it if you the space!.

People seal them all the time, i can't imagine they sound bad.

May as well take advantage of all that excursion.

i wanna know because i have a 93 celica convertible and i dont have a whole lot of room. i can fit 2 15's but in a sealed box.

im trading this guy and old school punch 200x2 (mint) and 2 he'2 in a sealed box for 2 old school stroker 15's and 4 rockford 1 farad caps.

Well, i'd rather have 2 strokers sealed than 1 ported.

The massive excursion is gonna lessen the performance difference between ported and sealed, anyways, especially in confined space.

I'd go two sealed, hands down.

You'll get SQ and smooth response to boot.

i would have to agree they dont work in a sealed box i had a few back in the day

and we were playin around with them one night in a sealed box the sounded like there were going to tear themselves apart if we left them like that for long periods of time
