Old, but with a new twist.

Dude wanted a modern radio that fit the two-shaft opening in his old Toyota, so he hacked an Arduino setup into an old head unit.

I’ve got one of these 12s as my current home theater/music sub. Someone was selling new old stock on Ebay a couple years ago of 10s, 12s, and 15s. Had a pair in HS and for the time, they slammed and sounded really good on a RF 500a1 I think it was called.


But my first was a pair of these 10s on Profile California 400xl. They were about in the same shape, lol.

I loved crutchfield before the internet they were the bible!! They made good amps too.

Crutchfield is how I got into installing. It taught me all about wiring systems and ohms law.

I grew up in the Tampa Bay area so I was exposed to a lot of music. From hanging out at storage units watching the birth of Death Metal to being introduced to bass music from the Mini-Truck scene.

I remember the first time I heard bass. Mr. Mixx On the Mix!! from 2 Live Crew in an S-10 standard cab mini-truck with a ported bed. Been hooked since the late 80's.
