I have a carver kmos 2200. And I can't find specs anywhere. I've had people tell me or I think its this. But no one ever knows. I'm gettin a comp cvr to run off it and wanna know if its 2 ohm stable so I can get the dual 4ohm version. Thanks alot if any of you old schoolers can find any info.

Yes Carver made car audio amplifiers with his special, patented technology. Bob Carver is again running Carver Audio it is located up near Seattle and their tech department still takes tech calls on their old Amazing Loudspeakers for home audio so I'm sure they can provide you with the specs to your amplifier.

Hmm. I thought Phoenix gold owns carver. I may be wrong though

Well if you don't mind burning it up I guess you can try it out. I just don't think the heatsink on the Carver's will dissapate the heat generated by a 2ohm load. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

2x100w 4ohm

300w RMS bridgedTwo 25 Amp Fuses

Two Loud Speaker Outputs (Bridgeable)

Two Hi-Level Inputs

Gold Plated Lo-Level Inputs

Gold Plated Hi-Pass Outputs

Sensitivity Adjuster

Setting for Flat/BI Amp

Setting for Flat/Bass Boost

EDIT: run each channel to a coil on the sub...you would get 200rms total and just need to match the gains(if there are two)

I know this is old, but just for the record:

KMOS 2200

100W RMS x 2 4 ohm

170 x 2 2 ohm

340 x 1 4 ohm bridged

I have two of these brand new in the boxes, with the documentation. The specs I am quoting are right out of the manual.
