Old Kicker........but how old?

A guy I work with gave me a pair of these in a q-logic wedge box. He said his son went off to Korea and was tired of the taking up room in the garage.

They look a lot better in person. The box has seen better days. I'm about to put the DMM and see if the coils are OK.

They say Comp VR under the Kicker logo( Crappy camera). Anyone have a guess at how old they are? Rated power? I had thought about putting one in the fiances explorer on a small mono amp I have, but I was gavely dissapointed when I pulled them out to find not only are they SVC but 8ohm!!

It's not that big of a deal that they are 8 Ohm SVC drivers....
