Help with componet speakers

Do most people on a budget just upgrade the front speakers and add a 2 cahnnel amp to power them and leave the stock ones in back? And what are some good components and an amp to power them for under $250? And why do they not say how many ohms they are? And what does 2 way and 3 way mean?

yes upgrading to a two channel amp w/ from comps is almost a necessary upgrade. I personally take the back ones out- rear fill sucks i agree. Most should say their ohms, but yea some dont. two way is using two speakers to reproduce two signals. Three way is using three signal frequencies with three drivers.
