old amp what's up?

a guy gave me a old LA sound malibu 120s for free but when I hook it up it makes a

constant like 1hz note? the cone slowly goes up than down fast and it dos not go to the music what's up?

bad ground on the rca input (outside shield). a 10 minute fix will probably cure it. i had an old mtx thunder 275x that did the same thing.

If that is what is wrong, then take it apart and inspect the RCA inputs. Won't hurt anything anyway. Look at the connection to the board from the RCA shield. If it's broken, resolder it.

take it to an electronics repair shop. should be a $15-20 fix if that is the case. it's not something that's easy to explain how to do, it's easier to just do it.

take a 18 awg wire and ground one of your RCA cables to a soild ground
