Okay enough is enough

When did I ever justify the bailout? When did I support the UAW? They helped sink the ship.
We were talking about quality of cars. And of course I am not going to be a manager or owner of a business, as I'm 19. I work at an Engineering Contractor drafting as an intern. I could care less what you think of me, because your an idiot, but you know what, it sure beats working at mcdonalds or some shit job that most of my other classmates are doing. I'm working for a real engineering company doing real work drafting, and I'm only one year into college.

So mr. employer, you can kiss my ***.
you work for free and i'm the idiot, you do someone elses work for them for free. you're a tool. when I was 19 I was planning my first business while in college and working. I opened my first business when I was 20. I probably paid more in taxes year to date than you made all of your life.

Here we go with the union bashing.

In 1998, GM had 600,000 UAW employees. They produced 8 million cars and posted a 2 billion dollar profit. In 2008, GM had 300,000 UAW employees. They produced 8 Million cars and posted a 30 billion dollar loss.

GM's market share has gone down from 50% to 19%

Sales have decline by 50%

The cost of labor is less than 10% the price of a vehicle

Toyota's average salary at their Georgetown plant is $30 an hour vs. $28 for GM and $22 for Honda. Toyota and Honda's starting wage is $17 an hour vs. $14 for GM.

GM was suppose to have full vested the employees pensions. It is not the union's fault GM could not manage to invest this money. The UAW agreed to take over retiree health care relieving GM of billions in liabilities.

why in the hell would i work for free. I didn't say I'm a volunteer. But Hey, you paid more in taxes, so that just means more of it went to GM.

Have fun being a part-time owner in that company!

Obviously you know more then me. What i was suggesting is that they were simply demanding more then the company could produce. If I am wrong, I'm wrong. I'll let you do the talking.

And GM has paid more in the past month than you will in your pathetic life time so quit *****ing about GM receiving government money.

theres tons of Uranium mines around here{end sarcasm}, and alot of people cant afford to make $9/hr as a security guard.
Yes they can, They just think they can't survive on $9 an hour. But other people can and do, So they can as well. They just can't keep their current lifestyle is all. But they would survive.

This Bush vs Obama is just what the government wants you to do. Blame a person instead of the government itself. Keep fighting over democrat this and republican that, While the same people that have been running the country down are laughing up their sleeves.

Yet you live in the biggest shithole in the United States.
Tool.
wow, Louisiana the biggest shit hole? so if every state had to provide it's own residences with their needs and luxury, we are 1 of 3 states that could actually take care of it's own. we have been effected very little if at all with this economic down turn, we produce everything but coal. most every business here in New Orleans is hiring at good rates. this state operated at a surplus. just b/c you live in a little fucking cave and saw a bunch of black ppl stranded on a roof after Katrina you think that I live in a shithole? yes we do have a large population of black ppl that don't get off their ass and expect the government to do everything for them. as for the rest of the ppl that live in this state, we all have great opportunities and live pretty comfortable. so you can take you little shithole comment and go get your ass kicked by Hulk Hogan again.

I have never seen a president as scrutinized as Obama. The venom from the republicans is ridiculous.
Because he rode in on a high horse thinking he was going to change the world. If you talk a bunch of shit, people have high expectations. If you STFU, people don't say anything. Why are you so blind you cannot see this?

What's funny is, these republicans are suppose to be fiscally conservative, yet Regan quadrupled the debt, Bush Jr. doubled it, and good old democrat Clinton had a surplus.
You don't know the difference between a deficit and a debt. C'mon now....

LOL they aren't going to shut it down. They plan to be in bankruptcy for 2-3 months. This in no way means GM is going out of business. They are simply restructuring the company.
That would be the fastest restructuring evar. It took Enron 3 years to emerge. I think maybe the airlines got through it in a year. GM may get fast tracked, but 2 - 3 months is optimistic.

My taxes decreased. Change enough for me.
the FY10 budget has not been passed. There have been no changes to the tax code. The witholding has changed, but not the rates.

exactly cant make people buy cars when they dont have any money
They they shouldn't be buying cars. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I didn't know it was a right to buy a car.

I didn't know they did this 20 years ago. Where are the hundreds of thousands of GM workers suppose to get jobs? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Lets not to forget unemployment rates and jobless rates are the highest in decades.
That is the responsibility of the worker, not the government.

theres tons of Uranium mines around here{end sarcasm}, and alot of people cant afford to make $9/hr as a security guard.
Why not? Maybe they shouldn't be buying a bunch of nonsense?

Speaking of doing nothing, there was an article in the Detroit Free Press about thousands of former auto workers who are entering nursing programs to become nurses.
See, it looks as if they have already started to provide a solution on their own. I think this is very good.

Yes they can, They just think they can't survive on $9 an hour. But other people can and do, So they can as well. They just can't keep their current lifestyle is all. But they would survive.

Yes, your state also has one of the highest poverty levels in the U.S., and ranks at the bottom in average household income.
And New Orleans is even worse. Poverty levels are 2x the national averages.

This has nothing to do with anything. Quality of life isn't measured by average household income.

Although, much of LA was begging for a handout after Katrina. They aren't really in a position to criticize handouts.

When the turd is talking about how much money he makes in an effort to show off his e-penis, average household income is relevant.
Oh, I didn't read all that into it. I thought he was talking about the self-sufficiency on the state of LA. I was commenting about it's not self-sufficient in times of disaster.

so you can look up averages. so averages justify your arguement? the average household income has no bearance on cost of living. sorry you can't live very comfortable on $40k/year alone in Cali/NY/Florida but $30k/year here, you can live pretty comfortable. you're numbers mean nothing b/c you don't live here nor understand the cost of living against the average household income or poverty levels. you have further proved that you never leave you little cave. poverty is concentrated area and never spread out to all area of a state. just incase you haven't seen these numbers, we do not increase the amount of ppl in poverty at the rate other states do. in other states you can easily go from living in the gated community to the projects or streets.
