Okay enough is enough

l haven't seen anything on the news lately but isn't there a bunch of people still living off of the way over priced katrina relief stuff?

Living here in Oregon we have floods quite often. About the same time Katrina flooded La we had a town flood up here. I noticed the katrina flood victims murdering and robbing each other.

Then I looked at what the town up here was doing. They were helping each other fill sandbags trying to save their neighbors homes.

so you can look up averages. so averages justify your arguement? the average household income has no bearance on cost of living. sorry you can't live very comfortable on $40k/year alone in Cali/NY/Florida but $30k/year here, you can live pretty comfortable. you're numbers mean nothing b/c you don't live here nor understand the cost of living against the average household income or poverty levels. you have further proved that you never leave you little cave. poverty is concentrated area and never spread out to all area of a state. just incase you haven't seen these numbers, we do not increase the amount of ppl in poverty at the rate other states do. in other states you can easily go from living in the gated community to the projects or streets.
I don't mean to jump back in this without knowing too much,

But your telling me you gave me all that shit about being a macho-business-owning pimp and you only make 30,000 a year? Shit if that's what it takes to live comfortable in New Orleans, I might as well just go down their now.

So there bankrupt now yes I know this dose not mean there done but shoot start getting your spare parts now. Yes they were rely stolen.

You don't know the difference between a deficit and a debt. C'mon now....
Either way, Reagan and the Bush's increased the debt and had budget deficits. Clinton lowered the national debt and had a budget surplus.

That would be the fastest restructuring evar. It took Enron 3 years to emerge. I think maybe the airlines got through it in a year. GM may get fast tracked, but 2 - 3 months is optimistic.
Enron is all but defunct //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Chrysler, according to reports, is ready to emerge from bankruptcy and it hasn't even been 2 months. The 2-3 months is the goal set by GM and the government.

the FY10 budget has not been passed. There have been no changes to the tax code. The witholding has changed, but not the rates.
Now you are splitting hairs. When the government is withholding less taxes from me, i consider that a decrease in taxes paid.

That is the responsibility of the worker, not the government.
It is the responbility of the worker to know in 1985 that GM would be bankrupt in 2009? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

See, it looks as if they have already started to provide a solution on their own. I think this is very good.
The state of Michigan is providing the training/education for displaced auto workers.
