OK to run 500W rms subwoofer from 300W amp?

I haven't bought anything yet, but I plan to buy a JL W3v3 sub and a 4 channel Diamond Audio D600.4 amp (300W rms when bridged).

Will this be enough power for my sub?

I want the 4 channel amp because I also plan to run my front stage from it (I'm not going to use the rear door speakers).

you won't have any problems, at least you can be sure there's hardly any chance of you being able to blow the sub.

you dont have to give the sub its rated power.

Ratings are only suggestions. Not to mention that amp is under rated anyways.
