i dont get this people want me to buy my own car so i did. and now people are saying that i should of let my dad buy me a car. i dont know. just can any body help me. plz on how i can make my honda civic cx quick. with boltons and electronics. i would really appreciate a posotive response. plz help me. im trying to get my shit str8ened out here.

cold air intakes will take from tq, and gain in the hp. its really rarely much of a difference. a CAI with headers and exhaust will usually make your car feel quicker. def. lower it, and personally, with a lowered car, and on that year of car i think a nice set of 16s, maybe gunmetal with a polished lip would look perfect.

so i wont get alot of power if i go with giving my car as much air as possible, but i will deff tell a difference with headers and full exhaust system (the sound will probably make me think that my car feels a lot faster lol) i was also thinkin about adjusting the little fuel injectors and getting some bigger ones to go along with my breathing system for added power. after i soupe up my car i will put suspension, and once my tires ware out on the hubcaps i will get 16'' to 17'' rims with low profile tires. does this sound good for the money????another thing, will a pulley system help at all, i truly dont know how one works???thx everybody

You will not need bigger injectors- the computer controls the pulse-width (amount of time the injector is open) according to oxygen sensor readings- bigger injectors will do nothing for you.The computer will have new higher flow fuel injectors open for a shorter amount of time than your stock ones to spray the exact same amount of fuel, it will run exactly the same, except your new injectors will likely prove to be less durable than the factory injectors. This is like the myths that cars run better on premium fuel, and a bigger cfm carburetor is better- it all depends on the car. Like I said- you can put a header and exhaust on it, but it will only feel better in the top end if at all, it will be worse off the line, and you will have to listen to it drone at cruise. Take my word for it- these things you are contemplating are a waste of $$$- I would do apperance and handling items only, plus a fat audio system- these are items you will appreciate the most and will not be a waste of money like engine mods on a car that will never make any power.

im probably goin to be an idiot and "try" and make it quicker anyways. so im looking for little stuff. like beginer stuff to soupe up the engine. i know im ignorant and wont take ur advice. its probably cause im young and still verymuch into my car. ok so i should, if anything just get headers, some sort of intake,and a full exhaust system.is that like beginer performance parts

FIRST get yourself a TACH! This should be the first thing you buy! Your never gonna know what your engine sounds like at xxxx amound of RPM's.

If you can, try to convince your dad to let you do an engine swap with an H22A motor.

Otherwise, I would just suggest to do what others have said, stereo system. After all you are on Caraudio forums...

For engine I would get a CAI coupled with a cat-back. Also remember that the exhaust is something you have to live with daily, so definitely think about how much noise you want before you buy it. I personally have a Apexi WS2 and this thing is quiet, but loud at WOT. Nice for the daily driver. Also go for some headers if you don't have to worry about smog. But in all honesty, they are a waste of money and effort for your car. Just sell that thing and buy something better with the money you would have spent modding.
