ok i have a pair of jl audio 6w0's--they are actually 6.5" subs but anyways...i was going to attempt to install one of them as a midbass driver but after a long discussion i found out that midbass was audibly stereo only. i only have room to install one so i decided to go with subbass instead of mid bass. any reason why this install won't work and do you think acousticly this will sound pretty good.

well thats more along the lines of my first idea that got talked out of because those are more midbass freq and they are noticably stereo and i only have room for 1 speaker.

you could fit two in that spot. tilt one towards each footwell. then you can run those freqs. If you need to go under the sq footage of the subs needs that should be ok, midbass will sound good either way, because there isnt a lot of need for resonance.
