Ok I think I have my system all planned out. Thoughts and suggestions...

Alright I have been planning my system for a few weeks now and think I have a pretty good idea of what I'm going with. I'm looking to build a sql type system. I want my mids and highs to sound great and also wants lots of GOOD sounding bass.

My budget is around $1200 for 6.5 comp set, comp amp, subs, sub amp and custom built box. I already have my doors deadened and will also be getting more deadener for the trunk and gonna do the big 3 plus a good battery under the hood not included in my 1200 budget. 1200 is strictly for my equipment. My car is a 08 Toyota Camry. Here is the layout of what I'm thinking...

HU= Pioneer AVH-X2500BT DoubleDin Touch Screen. Already have and installed

Front stage= Morel Maximo 6.5" Comp set OR Image Dynamics CTX 6.5 set. Both are $169.99

Front stage amp= Arc Audio FD2200 ( 100X2 rms ) $179.99

Rear Fill= I may throw some $50 Alpine 6.5" coaxils back there and run them off the HU or may just leave stock in. No big deal either way.

Subs= 2 12" DC lvl 2 Not sure on price?? Or 2 12" Sundown SA 12's $400

Sub amp= Q1 1200D ( 1200x1 rms @ 1ohm ) $270

Box= Custom slot ported box tuned at 32-35hz and sized for whichever subs I go with. 200-250

That puts me right at my budget $1270

Not sure how much the DC's are so that could effect the price if I go that route and also the box cause they require less space. I'm really leaning towards them but my questions are. Which subs better suit what I'm looking for and what should I tune them at for what I'm looking for? The comp set I flip flop back and forth on so input on that would help as well. i would do the morels over the id comps ,the dc lvl 2 12's are about $200 shipped from me .also you'll need an amp kit that will be for both amps ,and the big 3 . the amp kit can be cca or ofc with the aq 1200 ,but if you plan on a bigger amp in the future go with ofc.the custom box price is close , i build and ship custom boxes for 2 12's for 225 shipped .also i make the big 3 kits and have the amp kits as well.
