See that line of thinking just is terrible logic. Let's not vote for something because it will never win. By default you are containing something from happening that otherwise might happen if you supported it.
Not sure where you get a tree hugger from. He is anti government regulation (IRS EPA FDA). Yes he is a non interventionist but that is not an isolationist.

By definition logic has to be based in reality and possibilities. If Libertarians every had any chance at all of winning, it would be this election. Had they picked Petersen i think they could have made a very good showing. Right now Gary can't get one single state.

I still might vote for him (protest) because my state is pretty solid Red. My kids and inlaws... are voting for Gary, they normally vote Republican. But if my state becomes a swing state i'd have to vote for the one who can beat Hillary if nothing else but for the sake of the Supreme Court.

ps i'll lookup the his energy policies later. IIRC it was in a a debate he discussed his engery stance. but i want to double check that.

Wait What? Didn't Trump refuse to debate int the last 2 or 3 scheduled debates? Debating is not Trump's strong suite, especially one on one, maybe he could get Donald junior to debate for him!

At least he has Mike Pence now!!! I can definitely get behind Pence for VP, (and hope that Trump resigns for one reason or another LOL).

He did okay in group debates overall. He did stand out when he killed Bush, but most of them had good moments. you must admit Rubio was the clear winner of most of the debates.

The problem with Trump in debates is he never really answers the questions, and his ignorance on any giving topic become obvious during those moments. Also he tends to make up a lot stuff during debates, all the "fact checks" outlets killed his reputation with that.

If its just one other debater they have time to spend on his bad answers. Really, that was the only reason he stopped doing debates in the primary. The smaller the group the more pressure on him to actually know what he's talking about.

Hillary has many faults but she knows the details. I weather we agree or not with her ideology, she does know what shes talking about on most subjects. My fear is she will come across a lot smarter than Trump.
