Official Old School Collectors Thread

You got pics right?
They sorta look silver in this pic. but they are the polished sinks.....not shown are the two sink links I recently picked up...I'm gonna run three in the F150 the badges arn't attached except on the baby US....current plans for new install will be a 100HC on three rare DD 1008b's with an Audio control Epicenter....The middle size US amp on my door speakers which consist of a set of yellow cone Pioneer REV 6x8's ..the Baby US right side on the center ch left side on rear fill going through a vintage BNIB Audio Control ESP3.

I have several EQs so undecided on that as of now....but most likely an Audio Control EQL on the door speakers.

Hopefully this will give me a decent daily beater in my hunting truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

From what their specs claimed in the auction which was 1600 iirc but most likely under rated. Mine will do 2000+ at 1ohm I've heard of power figures on mine or 2000x's at close to 3000 at full power but who knows...I figure mine will be plenty for 3 lttle 8's
A 100HC is rated (BY US AMPS) 800x1 @ 1ohm

A VLX 200 is rated (BY US AMPS) 1600x1 @ 1ohm. Both are underrated, but US Amps even rates the VLX at twice the power of the HC. Pretty simple math and reading. Nice amps by the way.

there were only 4 100HC's like mine ever built before the US Amps buyout ....mine are built on a US Amps 2000x board....the others are not...the ones before mine put out half as much power I'm not sure what board they used.....

pic to link of a typical US Amps 100hc look at that board it is rated 800 at 1ohm

Now look at the board on my amp which does it look like //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif Mine will play at 2000+ watts 1ohm mono all day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif you can't play 1 ohm mono on a 2000x or you'll see magic smoke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Interesting............so basically, you don't have a production 100HC. And that should have been stated when you said that your 100HC put out more than a VLX 200. Maybe i should put a Sundown 3000d board in an old 250HCCA heatsink and tell everyone that a 250HCCA will do 3000w @1 ohm.......

mine is a production US Amps 100hc as I stated you can not run a 2000x at 1ohm mono you can run my 100hc at 1ohm mono...there were 4 made before the buyout it was the newest 100Hc made before the buyout...US Amps only made 4 before they were bought out and productions were moved to China. So mine is one of the rarest production US Amps amplifier ever made. It is not a custom made or a prototype amp

I know the thread is in Amplifier section but I have threw in a few pics of nice old school decks and processors...since the thread topic is Old School Collectors thread....I'd consider these all collectible car audio as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
