That was a thrashing ... I don't think I've seen Detroit play that bad ever in the playoffs ...

At the end of the first and beginning of the 2nd, Detroit was really taking it to Pittsburgh and I thought for sure Detroit was going to pull it out. But after the shorthanded goal by Staal and killing off those two penalties, the Pens just ran away with it and Detroit just looked tired and defeated from that point on.

Everyone seems to be a Wings fan this year, so I was getting some pretty nasty looks at the bar last night. I was one of maybe 4 or 5 people cheering for Pittsburgh, the other couple dozen were moaning and complaining all game. It was quite entertaining.

Everyone was laughing at Crosby on the dive in the 3rd when Maltby gave him a little tap to the back of the leg.

i didnt really understand why he fell like that and rolled around..

he wants more attention?

but the tic tac toe plays pens did was amazing..

shorthanded was BS if that didnt happen det would have pulled it out..

I'm not sure, he was probably trying to draw a penalty. It was the first time I saw him dive this playoffs. He obviously wasn't hurt because he was skating as fast as ever the next shift (which was like 1.5 minutes later) with no discomfort.

I was the first person to call it and my friend next to me was like, "What the fvck ?" because I was the only one in the group cheering Pittsburgh and the only one who actually likes Crosby, so they were a little surprised when I called the dive and called him a pussbag.

suspensions might be too much, but seriously they cant **** up and accept this "going-to-be-a-loss"

what a classless team the PP's are. Chicago did the same thing when they lost 5-1. Just take a loss. Didn't see detroit go around throwing penalty after penalty in either of the last two games they lost :ugh:

Lol i agree, I would say the NHL playoffs have been much more exciting than the NBA, esp the finals
