I played ice hockey for 6 years before I moved to Indiana when I was younger..

played for about 25 years now ( im 30 ) Growing up in minnesota as a kid, playing hockey was pretty big. And the state hockey tournament and playing at the x brings in about 120.000 fans over 4 days.. Minnesota by far has some of the most elite players in the country and also has 14 of the the top 20 HS schools in the country

Minnesota is hockey crazy for sure. They play the WCHA Final Five there as well, I want to go to it this coming spring.

Yea its huge.. Always a sellout at the X for hs hockey and actually had higher neilson ratings on FSN than the wild lol.. When i was in HS My school played in a national tourney where the top 10 schools in the country played each other. We ended up playing Detroit Catholic Memorial.. I swear all 10 of them teams looked better than a d3 team.. It was a blast

detroit played a shitty first period!! unbelievable they managed to get a goal..

but now they are finally looking good, 1st period, they could not get things going at all

and the penalty calls on detroit are BS imo, pittsburgh had done exactly same thing plenty of times or prolly something worse and they dont get the call.

I cant stand the way wings are playing defense right now..

penguins are playing GREAT offense today while wings is playing HORRIBLE defense

I sure hope the wings are enjoying the game they are watching because they sure as fuck arent playing in it! If Dats doesnt dress for the next game to give Pitts somehting to think about, theyre done. Absolutley HORRIBLE play by the Wings, and great playing by the Pens. Last goal was NICE
