again i love these woofers so far, cant wait to actually get some play time on em im sure they gona get louder and a tad lower as they loosen up i have plans of possbly more power (sundown) in the future.

the ports are just 4" acrylic tubes from my work that i cut and painted, i plan on playin round wit diff ports in the the future. maybe a single large round port. well see what i come up wit lol

Nice to see another Ranger build on here. I almost think that the MBQ puts out more power at 1 ohm than at .5 ohm. I ran mine on .5 ohm for the longest time without any troubles.

I like the port tubes - kind of reminds me of exhaust stacks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Hahaha the same guys that have trucks that run 10's with just a tuner lol

does your bottom drop down? mine only goes out like 12" then slumps down a little lower toward the front of the cabin. wondere if you just made a flat piece for that or what? I want those ports, make me some and i'll pay lol

yes i made a false floor to level it out. and as far ports go i can make ya the tubes and you would have to figure out how to mount them.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

I do not see a problem with an addition of up to a 600 RMS Class D mono amplifier with 4 ga OFC wiring supply kit and be fine. It would be...
