Anytime the cd player is powered on. Now Im hearing a loud cracking from the speakers when it powers on/off. Also, now I have no music from front speakers but I think when I got pissed and pulled on the dash kit I prolly just loosened some wires or something.is it when the car is running only?
I'm a little slow and still somewhat new to intensive installs/repairs. Can you elaborate on that maybe through a PM? Or just reply here? or leave your AIM name and I can talk? Sorry just trying to fix this crazy *** problem.if you plug the rcas into the front rca outs or back rca outs you will have a set sub level if your cd player allows it to control the sub volume either way a certain bit. on mine when mine did that i cud turn the actual feature bass up and down and it would stay at the same level.the subwoofer level controller is most likely only hooked up to the RCA outs for the sub. and yea i had blown my ground on my RCA's they say take a wire wrap around each RCA shield. then ground both wires to same ground on the HU. like the metal cage of the HU.
How did you find this out? How did you fix it? How much was it?i had this EXACT same problem with my 20.1, the rca inputs on the amp were bad.
Thanks bro.wow bro that really really really does blow...i wish i could give advice but everyone else has, i hope something comes through and works again, maybe not though...
Now thats shitty if thats true. The only thing I would be able to say ( Dont quote me ) is that it is the amp's RCA's and it sent a bad signal to his HU and f'ed his up too?
Im personally so frustrated im selling all my equipment and starting from scratch.I'm having a similar problem. When my H/U powers on, I get a low bass note thats gradually gets louder. I've got a new set of RCAs, but haven't tried them yet. Until I read this thread, I was hoping it was only my RCAs. Now, I'm thinking I have more of a problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. Right before this noise started my H/U lost all of the settings, which I thought was weird. Not trying to jack your thread, but does it sound like I have the same problem? I was planning a new substage, so hopefully its not my amp or sub.
