Drinking and driving is horrible, even though basically EVERYONE does/has done it.

I got 2 dui's and am going through alot of crap for the second one and it honestly helped me greatly. I never thought about drinking and driving but after gaining some knowledge and learning that something like 65% of drivers(here atleast) after dark are driving drunk i took a good hard look at the affects or possible affects of it.

All these people whinning though, i mean have you really lived that little of a life that you haven't needed to drive home after being anywhere that you were drinking? or are you just not 21 and can't sit down and have a beer with your meals?

Have you noticed that everyone talking trash on him isnt even 21 yet. LOL For all you haters out there a .02 can come from having 2 or 3 beers with your friggin steak dinner. Most of us have turned a little early on a red or not came to a complete stop at a stop sign.

For those who havent done these things above: Keep driving 10 and 2 with your seatbelts on and adjust your pocket protectors. Never taste alchohol and keep trying not to get laid.

The rest of us have lives to live. Kansas DUI laws are freakin ridiculus.

I would have a completely different take on this if he would have been caught blowing way over the legal limit swerving all over the place in a school zone. But he wasnt doing anything most people havent ever done he just got caught.

Most states have a zero tolerance policy for minors. You can get a DUI on cough syrup... Which is bullshit. That is the case here I believe.

I have drank and drove (where I knew I was not safe) once and I regret it completely, and will not likely do it ever again.

i didnt read the entire thread, but i too have gotten a ticket for not making a complete stop at a red light while turning right.

on the other hand, i wasn't drunk, i just think the cop needed to meet his quota cause i saw like 2-3 cars do it before me in plain view of the cop ?

On the railroad we have random breath test and pee test. The guy administering the breath test told me this:

In the seminars he has to take to be certified they have a guy take a shot of whiskey and another guy chew a piece of gum then they blow in the machine. The guy chewing the gum will blow higher than the guy that just took the shot. But the gums alchohol content only registers for about 15 minutes after chewing while the whiskey stays a little longer.

Check most of your gums ingredients and you will see sugar alchohol. Thats why they do a second test at the station after they arrest you.

honestly, after you nailed her, if she drove home on roofies she would probably just get put in detox or asked to phone a friend (the shittiest lifeline if you ask me). even though she would be way more of a risk and put herself in that situation by being a short skirt wearing skank. much like saywhat?'s future wife, that i will be banging in my office... or his sister (of course they might be the same person)
