Not sure what type of amp

Hey how's everyone doing? I recently got a set of subs from my friend. They are Alpine Type-E SWE-12S4 12". I have two of them, totaling 1500 watts and not sure what kind of amp to get, can anyone help me. Thanks guys

this amp would do just fine, your subs are 250 rms a piece with single 4 ohm coils, wire them down to 2 ohms, and you'll get the power you need for these subs. glad to help.

Looks like you've got Single 4 ohm coils, so you'll need ~500W RMS @ 2 ohms on the amplifier.

Some good budget options if you must buy new are:

Precision Power PPI BK650.1D (BK6501D) 650W RMS Mono Class D Black Ice Car Amp

MB Quart FX1.1000 1000W RMS 1-Channel Monoblock Formula Series Amp

If you don't have the budget for new, keep an eye open in the classifieds here or on craigslist, I'd recommend posting what you find on craigslist here before buying it, there are plenty of guys here that can tell you if it's junk or not.

OP your going to need at least 500 rms at 2 ohms... Whats your budget?

That concept amp juanmgarza26 mentioned is nice. I had 1 earlier this year and it pounded some sony 10s I had. I have the 525rms model right now and I love it. Its on ebay refurbished for a little cheaper
