Complete system. but i've already got the other stuff figured out. And you guys are 150% sure i dont need a 2 channel amp to hook up both arsenals?

ok, i would try this...

http://sonicelectronix.com/item_6308.html

i think it looks a lot better and it's well....better than your choice:D

also the box isn't bad...if you want to go sealed, but q logics are overpriced... for a box that size it's not too hard to build one your self

$25 mdf

$10 glue

$20 carpet

save 45 bucks and put that towards better speakers lol...

but personally i would go ported though... if you tell me what subs you want, i'll suggest you a box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

subwoofers are mono , which means they run on 1 channel, so you would buy a mono-block (1 channel) amplifier to power the subwoofers (you COULD use a 2 chan or even a 4 chan to power sub's but its just overall better to use a mono amp)

your interior speakers are stereo, which means 2 channels , left/right , thus you would get 2/4 channel amp to run stereo speakers, when you listen to the radio or cd's do you notice how sometimes you hear sounds comming from the left that you dont hear from the right and visa versa?

Well i know everyone will hate on me when i say the subs i was considering. the budget is pretty tight so i decided on these.. http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2222

btw the box has to be less than 14 inches tall cuz of trunk space issues, and i'd also need to fit a hockey bag into the trunk //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Car will be either a 1999 Mazda Millenia S or a Buick Lesabre (not sure what year but its the 2nd newest body style lol).

btw whats all this garbage i've been hearing about Hifonics Brutus amps?!

you said i need a battery also, what battery should i get? or what do you look for when searching for a battery?

at least you tried lol and didn't pick a sony xplode lol

anyways, if that's your budget, look at the ascendant audio assassins...

great subs for the price

http://ascendantaudio.com/assassin10specs.html

also, the crap you've been hearing about the hifonics amp is mainly that they are loud, as in they make a lot of noise when working.....

finally about the battery thing, it depends on if you want to listen to your system for a long period of time when the car is off. If you do, get the optima yellowtop

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3187.html

if not get a optima red top....

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3186.html

i would suggest this to run the pair of assassins http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_2748.html

imo, this is one of the most flexible and one of the best amps for the price, nothing comes close at $220

is the battery necessary if im not really gonna listen when the car is off? and also, will the assassins bump hard? i havent really decided exactly what i want yet. and the Hu looks pretty cool as long as it works with my Dell DJ

and in your sig...

"If you can't fix it with duck tape you have'nt used enough"

Duct** lol sorry it bugged me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It looks like you have the wrong connections. The head unit uses one amplifier to amplify 2 to 4 of your speakers. You are using 2 amplifiers...

That's a bit of a loaded question. A few FB amps were known to catch on fire. But that was more due to poor quality or specific use-scenarios...

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
