So where my amps will be going will be pretty tight on space. Want to do a fan or two but have no idea how to get the to turn on and where to wire to. First time ever messing with fans so be gentle lol.
That's easy, get a simple computer fan, and you can plug the power wire of the fan into the Remote input of the amp and the negative into the ground input of the amp. Will work fine and will only come on when your amp turns on..
I havent had any issues wired directly to my amps for the past 10 years.no relay is needed as majority draw very little power.I run off my sub amp..Some amps ran in stereo/mids and Highs amp are and can be quite sensative (MS)and you could get some ground and winding sounds / issues from a fan. I use the stinger Scroll fans...The better the CFM the more air movement. Most computer fans dont move very much air.
