Noob sub choice

Looking for a set of 8 or 10" subs with matching amps, im reading here all kinds of brands i've never heard of, what do you guys recommend? I have a Kenwood DDX418, db drive 6.5 component speakers and 6x8 hypnotic components, Need amp for components and subs. thanks in advanced.

 
looking for a set of 8's that will complement my system well I listen to all kinds of music, not looking for something too high end but i would like something nice.
