noob speaker install

i have a 2001 mustang with the mach 460 system in it. i bought a pair of alipine type S speakers toreplace the front ones... thich are 4ohms... the stock speakers run at 8 ohm, how can i hook these up correctly? soemoen said hook them up straight to the HU is that right?

what i mean is how do i know which wires in the back go to which speaker?

Um hook the new speakers up to the same wires the old ones were hooked up to.

when u take the old speaker off... you will remove the wires from them, place terminal ends on them, and put them on the new speaker.

nah i cant do that cuz the stock speakers are 8 ohm cause with the mach 460 they go though an amp and these speakers i bought are 4 ohm so how do i know which wires go to the speakers im replacing. and also do you think my HU can power the 2 speakers?
